Biography
Laura García Carrascosa
Degree in Biochemistry and PhD in Molecular Biology, expert in research in the area of genetics applied to nanomedicine. She currently lives in Australia, where she develops her research activity on early diagnosis of breast cancer at the Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN) in Brisbane. Passionate about research in the field of health, she has combined this activity with her other great passion, motherhood and the defense of natural childbirth, through articles and as a member of the Association El Parto Es Nuestro. She has also participated as a collaborator in the elaboration of the National Strategy for Sexual and Reproductive Health and in the Clinical Practice Guide for Pregnancy and Puerperium of the Ministry of Health.
