This book does not provide solutions or recipes or answers; neither does it have the truth. Rather, we share a profound reflection on how outdated and archaic the school as we know it today has become. It is urgent that we modify obsolete structures and invent systems in line with the lives we want for our children. We wish that the school could finally focus on contributing to the development of a healthy individual and not just a productive or “successful” individual.<\/p>\n

Children are the ones who suffer every day, and parents know how to silence them. Violence and disrespect for our children’s reality have become banal. Thanks to the fact that children are kicking more and more, we can no longer pretend to be distracted, because not adapting to a sick system is a sign of lucidity and health of childhood.<\/p>\n

We want to provide a breath of fresh air, innovative ideas and concepts, as well as enough autonomy not to be trapped in our own judgments. We hope to open the doors of a few hearts so that every adult decides to accompany the intrinsic strength and beauty of each child, connected to his or her own nature.<\/p>\n

We do not assure you that after reading this book your family or professional life will have more clarity. It is quite possible that this book will accompany you to the very emptiness. But the uncomfortable emptiness is one of the best states prior to the birth of something new. If we go through life so full, we don’t leave room for that which is waiting for us somewhere, especially in our heart.<\/p>\n

May this book help you to listen more quietly to your heart, and also to listen to the hearts of the children who accompany you through life, so that we can all look at each other with more kindness. May our culture transform its gaze and trust the good judgment and instincts of children.
